Post Vatentine's Day Recycling

Day 2 of my blog and I'm already breaking my own rules.  My latest creation?  While cleaning up today I came across the empty box of choclotes that my sweatie gave me for V-day and I managed to consume in about .6 seconds.  I'm sure that I hid the empty box from myself in an effort to forget my binge.  I was about to toss it out when insperation struck. 

I busted out my X-acto knife and carved out a picture frame for Lydia's school picture.  Here's how I did it..

Now you need to go find that empty candy box.  Don't pretend like you didn't hang onto yours or that it isn't empty, we know better!

So this is what I started with, cute huh?  So nice of him.  Anyway, see that Hershey logo box up in the corner?  That's what we're going to put the picture. 

What you'll need:  One empty heart shaped box, an X-acto knife, a picture you've been meaning to frame but haven't gotten to yet, some sicssors, and some tape.  

Inital Investment: Not a dime if you were lucky

How to:

Cut out the logo box with your knife

Trim your picture to fit behind your newly created circle

Apply some tape to secure the pic to the box

annnnnddddd.....

Here it is.

Even looks good from a distance
